New Sonoma County Wine Labeling Requirements

Important Wine LawEffective January 1, 2014, vintners in Sonoma County are now required to print “Sonoma County” on their labels.

This new law is part of “conjunctive labeling” legislation, originally passed in 2010. Wineries have been under a three-year phase-in, but the requirements are now in effect.
